Perhaps you’ve heard of “Paranormal Activity,” the micro-budget movie that has scared throngs of moviegoers while raking in $100M+ worldwide?
Director Oren Peli filmed the “Blair Witch”-style movie at his home right here in Rancho Penasquitos (a San Diego suburb). I did a little sleuthing, talked to some neighbors, and located the house on Bavarian Street. Here it is:
If you’ve seen the movie, you know the ghostly action takes place in the master bedroom, which could be the front room above the garage — or not. Difficult to tell. Anyway, the real location of the “Paranormal Activity” house seems to jibe with another report here, which shows the house to have a nice pool in the backyard.
Given Peli’s success — he’s already filming another bigger budget movie titled “Area 51” — it may not be long before he upgrades and puts this house on the market. Would you buy it after seeing the movie?
i would love to go in that hose where they lived it would be amizing to see where they stayed iff it is true and go see there bedroom and all the rest its so amzing when you get the chance to see where people have died and i would be the hose because if its true he died in thre it wouldnt harm you because it followed katie remember so plzz get back to me to tell me iff its true or not ty ps wb
